Can you believe it?! SUMMER VACATION IS HERE!!! I think that I might just break into song right now. Or maybe not... We've had our annual end-of-the-year school concert today - which was amazing! The K-2 class really put their hearts into their performance and the outcome was superb. I'm really going to miss seeing these bunch of bright and talented mini-adults everyday *sheds a tear* but I have no doubts that they'll continue to shine when they go to K-3 and beyond. |
We've learned and grew so much together as a class, and I'll never forget the things these kids have taught me this year. Every little experience - good and bad - has helped make us more united as a class and team. We've started out as strangers put together in a small classroom, but ended up being like a family. Yes, I have to admit that we've had some struggles in the beginning - doesn't everyone? But throughout the year, I've seen how my students become more courteous, caring, and empathetic towards others. They know that good acts in the community lead to a happy community. They're more aware of how their actions affect others. They're putting themselves in other people's shoes and thinking more about others rather than themselves. And THIS is what makes me so proud to have taught the SBI K-2 class from 2014-2015. We've had some technical difficulties with our video camera and it was not able to record the entire show :( Which is a real shame because the kids were absolutely AMAZING!!! I am so proud of each and every one of them. It was a really great show, and I'm not saying that because I'm biased. Okay...maybe a little bit biased. *twiddles thumbs* However, we have a lot of pictures from today's concert. If you have any videos and/or pictures that you would like to share from SBI's School Concert 2015, please post them on SBI's official Facebook page. Don't forget to tag #sbiconcert2015 !!! :) More pictures and videos from SBI's School Concert 2015 will be posted on the school's Facebook page. UPDATES:Updates about summer school and daycare will likewise be announced on SBI's Facebook page. This blog will not be updated until the next school term. See you in a month! Once again, have a HAPPY SUMMER 2015!!! | |
