The kids and I really enjoyed expanding our world views. After all, the purpose of the postcard exchange is to help kids become more aware of their positions and responsibilities as global citizens. There are so many interesting and exciting things and places in the world to learn about. Having a well-balanced and open attitude about other cultures and countries will help our students become better global citizens.
Dear K-3 Students and Parents,
SBI has made the following change regarding the Reading Curriculum for K-3: Starting from Tuesday, November 17, 2015, K-3 Students will be allowed to borrow books from the school library every Tuesday (under my supervision). The book they choose to read will be their Reading Homework instead of the photocopied versions they've received during the First Quarter. Students have to return the books to school every Friday. Lost or damaged books will be fined by the school office (please read the letter sent back with your child for more information). Thank-you for your understanding and support.
