Welcome back to school, my shining scholars! I hope that you all had a wonderful break. It's been a short but busy week here at SBI. We're all just rushing to get everything done before the end of the second quarter. A little birdie told me that it's in less than 4 weeks! *gasps* Anyway, here's a wrap up of what my busy bees and I did this week. |
K-2: New Sight Words
In addition to reviewing our old sight words, the K-2 students learned how to spell and read 4 sight words this week: We, Go, To, The. Our book of the week is "We Can Go", a sight word about how reading leads to a wonderful imagination. As I always say, reading can take you to many new and exciting places. The K-2 students were invited to think and discuss the many important and useful advantages of reading this week. I'm very proud of my Reading Superheroes! P.S. Happy Children's Day! I hope that you like your superhero cards :) |

K-3: Unit #5 Test
I have no doubts that the K-3 class will be in tip top shape and ready for Grade 1 by the end of the year.
